Great update, even greater frustrations
Definitely loving the new update after they stock-still the abrasive scrolling issues notwithstanding there are notwithstanding issues that need to exist addressed but I will only discuss 2 that I didn't find highlighted in other reviews.
1. Video playback freezes when using the scrub bar and sometimes I get simply audio when scrubbing while the video remains frozen.
two. What adds to that frustration is the fact that you demand sniper aim with your finger on the scrub bar otherwise you just end up enabling the side menu (correct swipe) or a different feed (left swipe) when fast forwarding or rewinding a video. Would be absurd if there was an option to disable the swipe gestures all together considering I find myself accidentally enabling them sometimes when scrolling the feed.
Peradventure when the swiping is disabled there could instead exist two buttons on each side to activate them or the easier set is mayhap enabling it simply when a user swipes closer to the bezel only and not anywhere on the app.
Non sure if devs see our devices along with our reviews merely simply in instance, I'thou on an iPhone 10 with the latest software and I get the video freezing issue on both WiFi and LTE. And yes I take tried endless times reinstalling the app and deleting any pertinent history of the app off my phone besides as the app'south cache in the settings menu earlier I exercise a reinstall.

Ah aye, 9gag, the cute app created to help pass the time. Whether you are bored at home, in a waiting room, or needing to laissez passer the time for whatever other reason - 9gag is your companion. I've been a user for too many years to count (somewhere between 6-9 years) and I have enjoyed the ease of the app, the dank memes, but most of all the customs. Since the app has asked me to rate them and I've been putting it off for some time now, I effigy why non. These days the memes are more deficient than they once were and it seems like a lot of content gets through to the hot page that is questionable considering many of us have seen it for the millionth time. With plenty fourth dimension I'g sure I'll run across it all only thankfully 9gag withal is able to offer me some new things I haven't seen. Ofttimes I find myself cracking upwards at the comments more than than the posts themselves but and so once again, I'one thousand even so entertained! And that is the point of the app. I'thousand giving this iv stars because the app could be amend. Mainly, I think the developers should discover a fashion to stop recycled memes (as well as bs Twitter/IG screenshots) to find their style to the hot page every bit it is ane of the biggest complaints that I see in the customs and definitely one of my biggest complaints as well. Get past that and I think this app could come dorsum to its former glory. Until and then I'll just keep trotting forth and making my manner to the annotate sections to have a good laugh.
Bugs, bugs everywhere this fourth dimension
The new update has literally made things difficult for me (not sarcasm :D) I see the same mail service maybe 3 times in a scroll. I meet posts with 200 upvotes in hot. The posts are like scrambled, they are non in the club they were in the older version. Everything seems like a chaos and information technology's actually annoying. When I play a video and finish watching information technology, whorl down, some other video comes, the cover is the same every bit the terminal one i saw, and when i play information technology, It IS THE SAME VIDEO. Simply when i click on the title to go in, its the one meant to exist. When im scrolling the posts continue jumping upwardly and downwards all of a sudden, changing positions. The new update almost had me crying. Delight please fix it crusade i deceit live without 9gag 💙
